Engine Overview

 

The Cummins N14 replaced the older NT Engines as the workhorse. The Cummins N14 is a 14-Liter Engine inline 6 cylinder configuration. The first N14 Cummins Engines were a mechanical style engine. Later the electronics were incorporated into the N14 Cummins Engines. The N14 Cummins Engines were produced from the mid 80's to the late 90's. N14 Engines are known as a very dependable engines and used in many on-highway & off-highway agricultural & industrial applications from Tractors trailers, glyder kits to Pumps.

Drop-in Cummins N14 Engines Dynometer Testing

 

All of NPD's Cummins N14 Complete Drop-In engines are 100% dyno tested prior to shipment. Computer controls ensure that each engine dyno test is conducted under standard, repeatable settings. Every engine is run through a warm
up cycle; three separate cruise segments simulating light, medium and heavy throttle conditions; maximum torque and horsepower tests; both high and low idle tests; and a black light leak detection test with dyed oil, coolant and fuel.

 

 

We supply these N14 Cummins engines in a couple different configurations.

N14 Complete Drop-in Engine                                1 - 3 Months Build Time Depending on parts availability
